Sweet as a Peach

Peaches (especially fresh from the tree Peaches) are one of my favourite fruits.  I used to help my mom can peaches every year and during the winter my mom would make peaches and custard for dessert.   Playing with the new Sweet as A Peach "Bundle from the latest released 2021/2022 Stampin ' Up! Catalog! is bringing back some great memories for me.  Plus making my mouth water....I can smell and taste these peaches in my memory bank.  lol  Living on the coast our summers are full of fresh fruit so I'm counting the days until Peach Season.  

So it's no wonder this is one of the first sets out of the new catalog that was a must have for me.

I stamped the peach image on the left with Pale Papaya, one of Stampin' Up!'s new in colors), and sponged Calypso Coral over top to create this realistic image.  This was the very first card using this set so I was still experimenting with colors.   The peach image on the top was stamped with Pale Papaya but after making this card I decided the other cards (22 of them for my Canada wide swap buddies) would all be two-toned.  Just love the realistic look.

I also used the new dies "Tailor Made Tags" in this card of which I'm having fun creating cards with as well.  Check this one out I made last week for a friend.

Such a quick card to whip together using the tag dies some Floral Art designer paper and the Brilliant Wings dies along with the Thank You from the "Best Year" stamp set.

I hope you enjoyed seeing what I'm up to lately and I'm glad to have been able to play with some new product before we bring this monkey home in just a couple weeks time.

I don't think I'm going to have as much stamping time as I'm used to with these cute paws jumping around me.  What do you think?
