New Decor Elements!

Hi everyone,

I'm really going crazy for Stampin' Up!'s Decor Elements!  I recently purchased the new "Thought Bubble" from page 3 of the new additions  "Catalog Insert" of the "Definitely Decorative" brochure to entice my son to let me paint his room.  He hates to change things even if it's the same color.  I'm hoping this cute Thought Bubble that you can write on with chalk will change his mind.  LOL!

In the meantime I've been making Decor for my Living Room!  Unfortunately, these aren't the greatest of pictures.  I had to stand in the stairwell to take the pictures so I couldn't stand far enough away to get a better shot, so these will just have to do.. :-)   Well you get the idea anyway!  I did the same thing as the "Welcome" frame (see November 30, 2009 Post) I made purchasing canvas frames from the dollar store, stencilling right over top of different colors of textured cardstock using the 'Flourish" paint stencil and then rubbing on the words, life, hope, faith and love!  Then I glued the paper right on to the canvas frames that I painted black around the edges!  So easy and fairly quick to make!

Off to convince my son to paint his room so I can put up the "Thought Bubble"...wish me luck!

This is gorgeous! I've been thinking about getting the flourish stencil and after seeing this I'm definitely going to get it!
